Ingredients

Kielbasa and vegetables
  • 1 lb kielbasa
  • 2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 red onion
Honey garlic sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 4 garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
For serving
  • 1 sesame seeds
  • 1 green onions

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep and roast
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment or foil.
  2. Whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and red pepper flakes until the sauce looks smooth and uniform.
  3. Toss kielbasa rounds, broccoli florets, sliced red and green bell peppers, zucchini slices, and red onion wedges with the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated.
  4. Spread everything on the sheet pan in a single layer so the vegetables roast rather than steam.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes at 400°F, tossing halfway, until the vegetables are caramelized and the kielbasa is golden.
  6. Scatter sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the hot sheet pan and serve immediately.

Notes

For best caramelization, avoid overcrowding the sheet pan—use a second pan if needed so broccoli and peppers get browned edges. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days; reheat in a 400°F oven until hot (microwave works but softens the vegetables). Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes in zucchini and peppers. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free soy sauce in the honey garlic sauce.
